Women on the Road News
Do you ever wonder what to pack in your backpack?
By the time you're finished, is it so heavy you
can't lift it?
It really doesn't have to be this way! In my years
of backpacking, I've pruned and fine-tuned a Bare Minimum
Packing List for Women Backpackers - and I'd like to share it
with you.
If something's not on this list, you can leave
without it.
Newbies often make the same mistake: lugging far
too much useless junk around. You can tell the beginners by their bent
backs and the sweat streaks on their clothes.
Do you ask yourself...
- How many clothes should you take?
- Which gadgets will help keep you safe?
- What should go in your first aid kit?
- What you can and can't leave behind?
- Whether to take your driver's licence?
Then subscribe to Women on the Road News
(it's free, of course!) and get my Bare Minimum Packing List for women travelers, printable and
in handy checklist form. Get this list and pack like a pro.
Each month, I'll provide you with essential travel
tips not yet available on the website. Subscribers
have learned to:
- Reduce their carbon footprint
- Find cheap and even free accommodation
- Join volunteer programs and travel with a cause
- Stay safe on the road
- Deal with solo travel, relationships or travel
burnout - not all at the same time though!
Here's what some readers had to say about Women on the Road News:
"I
am considering leaving my high-paying job for a year on the road -
sola. I thought maybe I'm crazy for even considering it - especially
alone as a woman. Reading this newsletter makes me feel like it's not
only possible but normal. I feel much more confident knowing there are
other women out there traveling alone and doing it well. It
has also given me great ideas and encouragement!"

"Your
ezine makes me think creatively about where to go and what to do there.
Your ezine and your site both inspire me, because I would not have gone
on my two-year trip without them - and I know many women who feel
inspired enough to think of retiring and traveling full time because of
what you write! By the way, your packing list should the packing bible
of the internet for women!"
